These terms are for Dusk Latch.You already booked the sitter.These are the notes for how they run the house.

The service

Dusk Latch lets you write the house once and reuse it on the next stay.The homeowner pays $9.99 a month.The sitter is free.

We do not book the stay.It does not find a sitter, review a sitter, or rank a sitter.We do not take a cut of what you pay the person you already have.

Your data

We will never sell your data.We will never share your house or your email for ads, lists, or money.Read the privacy page for what we keep and who can see a house.

You own the words and photos you add.You let us store them so the sitter you invite can run the house.

Your account

You need an account to write a house.Keep the password to yourself.You are responsible for what you write, including codes, jobs, and who may spend.

A sitter sees the houses you shared with them.They do not see a house they were not invited to.If a code changes, you must update the Dashboard.

The stay is yours

The stay is an arrangement between you and the person you already have.We do not promise the sitter will come, or that a job will go right.Write who to call if you cannot answer.

If the sitter stays on your property, ask your own lawyer or insurer whether you need a written stay note.Dusk Latch does not write or store a waiver for that.

Vesper can miss.Check the Dashboard when a job matters.

Fair use

Use this site to write the house for a sitter you already have.Do not use it to find a sitter, review a sitter, or rank a sitter.Do not scrape the site or try to read another house.

We can close an account that harms a house or this service.

The site

We offer the site as it is.It can be down.We are not liable for a missed job, a lost animal, or a trip you take.

United States law applies.If a court will not hold a part of these terms, the rest still stands.

If these terms change

If we change this page, we will change the date at the top.Using the site after that date means you accept the new terms.We will not use a change to start selling data.
