Dusk Latch is the Dashboard for a stay you already arranged.It does not find a sitter, review a sitter, or rank a sitter.We do not rent, trade, or sell a list of owners, sitters, or houses.

If a company helps us send mail, send a text, host the site, or answer a question, they see only what that job needs.That is not a sale.We do not let them use your house to sell something else.

If you leave an email on the home page, we keep that email so we can remind you to write the house before you leave.If you create an account, we keep your name, email, and a locked password.

If you write a house, we keep the notes: the animals, the stays, the jobs, and the sitter you name.Photos you add stay on this device until we have a safer home for files.If you ask Vesper a question, we send the question so it can answer.

You see your house when you sign in.The sitter you invite sees this house.If they stay at other houses, they see those houses in one list.They do not see a house they were not invited to.A neighbor or backup person sees nothing unless you put them in the notes and they are the sitter.

We will not show your door, your codes, or your animals to anyone you did not invite.We will not put your codes on a public page.

The site is hosted on Vercel.Mail goes through Resend.A sitter text goes through Telnyx.Vesper answers through the Vercel AI path.

Vercel may count a visit so we know the pages load.That count is not a list we sell.

We keep an email until you ask us to drop it.We keep the Dashboard until you ask us to delete the house.A sitter link is only for the invite you sent.

You can stop mail by writing hello@dusklatch.com from the email you used.You can ask us to delete your account and your Dashboard.Write hello@dusklatch.com from that email, and we will do it.

This site is for the person who leaves a house, not for a child.Do not make an account for someone under 13.

If we change this page, we will change the date at the top.We will not use a change to start selling data.That promise stays.
